Excellent selection! Some of the examples there really do show that simplicity can give a logo real presence and power.
I love the water drop and pause logos.

Excellent examples. In order to be memorable, a one-color logo is HIGHLY recommended. Definitely a MUST for modern Brand Identity designs.
